Studios is committed to reducing waste and energy consumption in the work
place. These issues are
continually being addressed and audited by our commitment to BS 8901. The British Standard which has been developed
specifically for the events industry with a purpose of helping the industry to
operate in a more sustainable manner

Studios recognise that the key element of the environmental policy’s success is
education of its employees with the eventual goal that staff will actively want
to participate.

Studios has a responsibility and aims to:
Minimise
paper wastage by implementing a paperless online project management tool called
Procim, which drastically reduces our paper waste.
Recycle
all waste paper, cardboard and glass, reusing wherever possible
Pass
all used toner and ink cartridges to the recyclingappeal.com who sell them on
and pass the proceeds to our local HIV / AIDS charity, The Sussex Beacon.
Discourage
the use of plastic cups and instead provide glasses for water
Use
china cups for coffee instead of throwaway
Use
natural materials in the office
Minimise
energy consumption by using power save and turning off lights and equipment
when not in use.
Encourage
use of public transport to travel to meetings
